Involvement in providing some basic food products in order to improve food security in keeping with the missions of a public institution active in health field (Social Security Organization) has long been included in the policies of this organization.
Food Investment Company was established in SSIC complex in 2003 with the aim of managing the subsidiaries and developing this class of activities.
However, by expanding its activities and taking on the responsibility of managing some of the other SSIC subsidiaries, it continued its activity by the name of Tamin General Industries Investment Company (privately held company). Currently, possessing the shares of 19 managerial and non-managerial companies, General Industries Holding Company has a diverse portfolio at its disposal.
Possessing 6 million square meters of land by Tamin General Industries Holding Company in order to construct animal husbandry projects has been one of the most important achievements of this group to produce 1M liters of milk in 2019.
